Questions Teachers Ask

About 3rd grade bingo

How does this support 3rd grade multiplication fluency?
It directly targets CCSS 3.OA.C.7 — fluently multiplying within 100. The teacher reads a multiplication fact and students search their card for the product, repeating the fact aloud as they mark it (which strengthens the connection).
Should I use the 1–5 or 1–12 pack?
Start with 1–5 early in the year; transition to 1–12 once students are confident with the foundation facts. Many 3rd grade classrooms alternate between both.
