Place Value Bingo (Hundreds, Tens & Ones)

The follow-up to our tens-and-ones pack. The teacher describes a three-digit number by its place values ("5 hundreds 0 tens 8 ones") and students find the matching number on their card (508). Numbers with a zero in the tens or ones place are mixed in on purpose — they are the ones students most often get wrong.

Questions Teachers Ask

About this pack

Which standards does this pack support?
CCSS 2.NBT.A.1 (understanding that the digits of a three-digit number represent hundreds, tens, and ones) and 2.NBT.A.3 (reading and writing numbers to 1,000). It also works as review for 3.NBT.A.1 rounding work.
Why are there numbers like 508 and 904?
Zero as a placeholder is the most common place-value misconception. Mixing in numbers with 0 tens or 0 ones makes students slow down and think about what each digit means.
Should I start with the tens-and-ones pack first?
If your students are new to place value, yes. The tens-and-ones pack builds the foundation, and this pack extends the same format to three-digit numbers.
Is the download free?
Yes — completely free, no signup, no ads, no payment.
