How do you play movement bingo?

The teacher reads a brain-break activity from the calling sheet, all students do the activity, then students with the matching square on their card mark it. First to five in a row wins — but the real win is everyone moving for a minute.

When does brain-break bingo work best?

Right after lunch, between subject blocks, during indoor recess, or whenever you sense the class needs an energy reset. A single round takes 5–10 minutes.

Will this work for older students too?

Yes. Upper elementary students typically lean into the movement when it's framed as a game. Many 3rd–4th grade teachers use it as a morning meeting warm-up or end-of-day wind-down.

Do I need any equipment?

No. All activities are designed to work in a standard classroom with students at or beside their desks. Just print the PDF and go.
