Questions Teachers Ask

About this pack

When should I use winter bingo in the classroom?
Anytime in January or February — the post-winter-break stretch when the holiday packs feel done but the weather is still squarely winter. Also great as a transition activity on snow days or indoor-recess afternoons.
Is this pack non-religious?
Yes. The word list intentionally avoids any holiday vocabulary so the pack works in classrooms that prefer secular seasonal content. For Christmas vocabulary, see our Christmas Bingo pack.
Does this work as a science unit warm-up?
Yes. Words like hibernate, frost, frozen, blizzard, and polar bear pair naturally with K–2 weather, seasons, and animal-adaptation units.
What's in the download?
One teacher's calling sheet plus 30 unique randomized student bingo cards in a single printable PDF. Free, no signup.
