How do you play rhyming bingo?
Two ways: (1) classic bingo — the teacher calls a word and students find the match on their card; or (2) teacher calls a word and students find any word on their card that rhymes with it. Many teachers do both, starting with classic and progressing to rhyme-matching as students build confidence.
Which rhyme families are included?
Ten: -at, -og, -ig, -un, -op, -ee, -ight, -ed, -ake, and -ing — covering the most common short-vowel and long-vowel rhyme patterns in K reading.
